Usoon joined the John M. Belk Endowment in November 2013 as executive assistant. Past professional roles include executive assistant and community outreach coordinator at Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, as well as many years of freelance work as an artist.

The Endowment continues to partner with and advocate for the John Montgomery Belk Scholarship at Davidson College, which was established by our founder in 1995. Since 2012, we have awarded grants of more than $53 million, primarily within North Carolinas postsecondary educational sector.
